RICHMOND, Va. - s4story -- The Virginia Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 class of inductees and annual award honorees, recognizing individuals who have made a lasting impact on wrestling across the Commonwealth.

The induction ceremony will take place on April 11, 2026, in Glen Allen, VA, where the wrestling community will gather to celebrate these honorees and their contributions to the sport.

This year's class reflects decades of dedication through coaching, officiating, leadership, and service. Wrestling continues to play a vital role in developing discipline, resilience, and character in Virginia's youth, and these individuals exemplify those values.

2026 Inductees for Lifetime of Service

Steve Castle
– A longtime coach at Episcopal High School who built one of Virginia's premier independent programs and contributed statewide through VISAA leadership and mentorship.

Tim Hoden – Recognized for more than 30 years as a respected official and administrator across VHSL, VISAA, NCAA, and NCWA competition.

Greg Jenkins – Honored for a 42-year officiating career that includes district, regional, and VHSL state championships, along with contributions to youth wrestling.

Tim Pierson – A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and internationally recognized official who has worked world championships, Olympic Trials, and elite events.

Mike Stefanko – A highly successful coach at Meadowbrook, Clover Hill, and Cosby, compiling more than 500 dual meet victories and building championship programs.

2026 Inductee for Outstanding American

Emmit McHenry
– A former wrestler turned technology pioneer, McHenry co-created the .com domain system and founded Network Solutions, helping build the modern internet and demonstrating how wrestling's values extend far beyond the mat.
