The tournament is named in honor of SSgt Brad Rich (U.S. Marine Ret.), who served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and was a dedicated member of the Wolfpack team. In 2012, Brad was diagnosed with spinal cancer, which later metastasized to his brain. Brad passed away in 2015, leaving behind an enduring legacy of strength, perseverance, and determination.
The Brad Rich Invitational is more than just a game. It embodies the belief that Warriors are not defined by their disabilities, but by their spirit. The tournament showcases adaptive sports athletes whose determination, teamwork, and skill inspire all who watch them compete.
