GREEN BAY, Wis. - s4story -- Meet sixteen-year-old Jessie Connelly. She has lived a normal life until she witnesses a horrifying attack on a student at her high school. "I wanted something a bit different." Laviolette says, "Although I do love the vampire/werewolf paranormal romances, I felt it was time for something new. Laviolette accomplished her goal by creating a unique storyline with a cast of colorful characters for her young adult urban fantasy novel. Within six weeks she had written Bloodborne Awakened, and sent it out for beta reading by Swati Hegde. The results were highly favorable.
