YardTixx Launches First Event Ticketing Platform Purpose-Built for On and Off the Yard

S For Story/10699088
Built for HBCUs, Divine 9, Business Professionals, and Community events!

INDIANAPOLIS - s4story -- SAS Technologies, LLC and Blaqswan, LLC, two Black-owned technology and strategy firms co-founded by Kentucky State University alumni, have joined forces to launch YardTixx — the first event ticketing platform built exclusively for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the nine member organizations of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) commonly known as the Divine Nine, and Black professional organizations. YardTixx is now live at https://yardtixx.com, giving D9 chapters, HBCU student government associations, alumni associations, campus organizations, and Black professional networks a culturally authentic alternative to generic ticketing platforms that were never designed for their events, their communities, or the way they actually operate.

The platform was born from a clear and personal observation: no existing ticketing tool speaks the language of HBCU culture, D9 community life, or Black professional events. Probate shows, Founders Day galas, step shows, professional networking mixers, homecoming multi-event passes, and table packages for seated scholarship fundraisers all require features that other platforms were simply not built to handle. YardTixx changes that with D9-native event types built directly into the platform, member-only pricing tiers with access codes that hide tickets from the general public, and table package management with per-seat name entry — features that Financial Secretaries, Event Chairs, and professional event organizers have been cobbling together with Google Forms and Venmo for years.

For organizers, YardTixx delivers capabilities no competitor in this space can match. Payouts reach the organizer's bank account within 48 hours of a completed event, compared to the six to eight day wait other platforms impose. The platform's mobile check-in application runs in full offline mode — a critical advantage for HBCU venues where cellular coverage collapses when hundreds of attendees arrive simultaneously. All of this is available with no monthly fee through the Pay-As-You-Go option at a single flat rate of 4.5% plus $0.99 per ticket, a fraction of what other platforms charges.

YardTixx is co-founded by SAS Technologies, LLC, an Indiana-based technology company specializing in platform development and digital infrastructure, and Blaqswan, LLC, a strategy and innovation firm focused on economic empowerment within Black communities. Both founding teams are led by proud Kentucky State University graduates who built YardTixx from lived experience inside the very communities the platform serves. Together they bring expertise in software architecture, startup operations, D9 Greek life, and HBCU campus culture that no outside technology company could replicate.
