Hybrid Publisher Acorn Publishing has appointed award-winning author/editor Matthew J. Pallamary to its Advisory Board.
SAN DIEGO - s4story -- Acorn Publishing a premier hybrid publisher has appointed author, editor, and nationwide lecturer Matthew J. Pallamary to its advisory Board.
Pallamary has taught fiction workshops for more than three decades at multiple writing conferences and serves as the ombudsman for the prestigious Santa Barbara Writers Conference.
The author of more than twenty books, Pallamary is the recipient of the Man of the Year Award from San Diego Writer's Monthly Magazine. His works have been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Norwegian, French, and German, and have been praised by luminaries such as Ray Bradbury. His historical novel, Land Without Evil was adapted into a full-length stage and sky show directed by Agent Red and performed by Sky Candy. The making of the show was the subject of an episode of the PBS series, Arts in Context, which garnered a Lonestar EMMY nomination.

Hybrid publisher Acorn Publishing is the largest publisher in San Diego as well as one of the largest in California and has published 160 books to date. Acorn's books have won 500 awards and counting. Three of them have been optioned for television. Acorn was recently awarded the 2024 Chrysalis BREW Project Publisher of the Year.
