Her career has focused on enterprise-scale transformation, advancing AI/ML and intelligent automation, and converting complex operational insight into measurable business outcomes in highly regulated environments.

Shefali recently joined Vanguard as for Head of Digital Product Management Fund Services Oversight, where she leads digital product strategy and transformation. She is responsible for digitizing and optimizing platforms, processes, and operating models, partnering across technology and fund services teams to deliver scalable, forward-looking solutions.

Previously, Shefali held senior leadership roles at J.P. Morgan and BNY Mellon, including Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, where she led global end-to-end transformation programs. Across both institutions, she drove initiatives spanning process discovery, task mining, advanced analytics, machine learning, and intelligent automation. She governed enterprise SaaS and AI platforms—including generative AI—while overseeing vendor strategy and investment governance across complex global organizations. She also led global custody and fund administration shared services, delivering sustained efficiency gains and resilient operating models.
