Lonely Together was created during a walk through a public park at the height of spring. While the surrounding environment was alive with movement and colour, the bench and lamppost remained visually and emotionally still. Through ICM, the natural elements dissolve into vertical streaks of green and light, while the two man-made forms retain enough structure to anchor the composition.

The artwork reflects themes of presence, quiet companionship, and shared solitude. The bench and lamppost appear close but separate, echoing the human experience of occupying space together without interaction.
