Are We Already Entering the Age of Super Intelligence?
S For Story/10704253
Author and Polymath Bruce Goldwell launches a new Super Intelligence resource exploring a provocative question: What happens when ordinary people gain access to extraordinary intelligence?
ORLANDO, Fla. - s4story -- Artificial intelligence may be changing more than the technology we use. It may be changing what an ordinary person is capable of accomplishing.
Author Bruce Goldwell has launched SI — Super Intelligence, a new online resource exploring artificial intelligence, Human + AI collaboration, and the growing ability of individuals to use powerful intelligence for learning, creating, researching, problem-solving and building new ideas.
The project begins with a simple question:
What happens when ordinary people gain access to extraordinary intelligence?
For generations, advanced intellectual resources were concentrated in universities, corporations, governments and organizations capable of assembling teams of specialists. Today, an individual sitting at a kitchen table can use AI to research a subject, develop a book, explore a business idea, create software, learn a new skill or work through a complicated problem.
More on S For Story
Goldwell believes this suggests another way of thinking about the AI revolution.
"Maybe the Super Intelligence isn't just the machine," Goldwell says. "Maybe it is the amplified human."
The new SI resource explores topics including what Super Intelligence means, how it differs from Artificial Intelligence, Human + AI collaboration, practical uses for everyday people and the possible future of increasingly capable intelligence. My Kindle Books (https://www.mykindlebooks.net/si-super-intelligence)
The website also introduces Goldwell's three-part SI — Super Intelligence series: SI — Super Intelligence, SI — Super Intelligence II, and the SI — Super Intelligence Workbook.
Rather than focusing only on how intelligent machines may eventually become, Goldwell wants readers to consider a more personal question:
How capable might humans become when extraordinary intelligence is available to almost everyone?
