Artsman Becomes the Only Brand Preserving the Complete Basketball History of Rupp Arena
S For Story/10680437
Artsman, a company known for transforming historic basketball courts into handcrafted collectibles, has become the only brand preserving the complete hardwood history of Rupp Arena.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - s4story -- With the launch of the University of Kentucky Vintage Rupp Arena Collection, Artsman now offers authenticated pieces from both eras of the iconic venue's playing surface. The newly released collection features game-used basketball court wood from the original Rupp Arena court that was used from 1976 to 2001. Artsman also maintains an existing collection crafted from the court used from 2001 to 2024, creating a complete hardwood timeline that spans nearly five decades of Kentucky basketball history.
The original Rupp Arena floor was the foundation for one of the most dominant programs in college basketball. From three national championship seasons to record setting performances and generations of legendary players and coaches, the court served as the stage for moments that shaped the identity of Kentucky basketball.
Each item in the Original Rupp Arena Collection is handcrafted in Cincinnati, Ohio using authentic game-used court sections. Every piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), which proves the authenticity of the product while also indicating where on the court each piece comes from.
More on S For Story
The collection includes display and giftable pieces designed for alumni, fans, and collectors seeking a tangible connection to Rupp Arena and its legacy. These pieces include ornaments, dog tags, and mini court replicas. Quantities are limited due to the finite nature of the original hardwood.
The University of Kentucky Original Rupp Arena Court Collection is available exclusively at ArtsmanSport.com.
