Author Che Parker Pens Fourth Novel The Peregrine
S For Story/10487989
The Peregrine is the Story of a Teenage Girl Who Discovers She Has Supernatural Powers And She Uses Them To Seek Justice
BALTIMORE - s4story -- With his latest book, The Peregrine, author Che Parker delivers a heroic tale of a teenage girl who discovers she is not like everyone else. Raised by her single father Pepper, Falcon learns how to navigate the sketchy, sometimes scary, inner-city streets of Washington, DC.
Like many teenage girls, Falcon attends school, hangs out with her friends, and has a fondness for boys. Yet there is something different about Falcon's upbringing, her father's tactical training. Pepper often trained Falcon with thoughts that one day these tactical skills would come in handy. During a training session with her father, Falcon discovers that she has a special gift that's far from normal. This gift is a special skill that wasn't taught by her father, it was a superpower.
The Peregrine follows Falcon's journey of vengeance as she puts her superpower to the test after a traumatic life-changing incident occurs. What happens when Falcon realizes that she is not normal? Hope and optimism are prevalent, but it does not ignore the harsh reality of tragic outcomes.

"Che Parker has brought us an entertaining tale about a young teen with superpowers with The Peregrine. Parker does a good job of telling this story from a teen girl's point of view. You will feel the excitement and confusion of Falcon as she discovers how she can use her powers. While The Peregrine has a satisfying ending, this book could very well be the start of an interesting series. The Peregrine by Che Parker is a good story for both teens and adults alike." -Urban Reviews
"This story is special to me because I wanted to show the inner strength of young black girls," Parker said. "I wanted to demonstrate that in some cases, we don't need to forgive our enemies. In fact, in some cases, the only proper recourse… is revenge."
The Peregrine is 175 pages and is now available in ebook and print versions at Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Peregrine-Che-Parker/dp/B08RSZGTML), Barnes and Noble (https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-peregrine-che-parker/1138007444), and other online booksellers.
