Author Shines Light on Diversity and Workplace Culture in New Book

WACO, Texas - s4story -- In a bold and compelling new book, author Brittney Wardlaw delves into the critical issues of diversity and workplace culture, drawing from personal experiences of walking away from a prominent corporate position in the pursuit of freedom. The book, titled My Untold Stories: The Roads that Led to Liberation, is set to release on October 4th and promises to ignite conversations and inspire change within corporate environments.
My Untold Stories is a poignant narrative that intertwines Brittney Wardlaw's own journey with powerful insights and research on diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. After walking away from employment due to significant struggles and systemic oppression at Baylor University, Wardlaw aims to shed light on the "silent psychological suffering" that many employees face in corporate America, including in higher education, and offers practical solutions for creating more inclusive, supportive, and anti-racist workplaces. On her back cover, Wardlaw asks her readers, "Have you ever been through something and you didn't bother going into detail about it because you thought, "what's the point?" Have you ever wondered if the difficult roads you have walked were in vain? Well, I have."

After working as an administrator in higher education at predominantly white institutions for nearly a decade, Wardlaw is now walking in the fullness of entrepreneurship as the Co-Founder of her and her husband Gary's for-profit mental health clinic, The Relationship Clinic (TRC), the Co-Founder of their non-profit, Institute for Healing Racial Trauma (iHRT), as well as the owner of her own professional development firm, BW Consulting. (From, TheRelationshipClinic.com)
"My hope is that people walk away with new insight to my story and testimony; language to articulate their own experience; and inspiration to walk in faith—because freedom is for all of us," says Wardlaw.
My Untold Stories will be available in hardcover, paperback, e-book, and audiobook formats through major retailers and online platforms and is now available to pre-order. Brittney Wardlaw will also be embarking on a book tour, with events and signings scheduled in various cities across the country.
