KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - s4story -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is proud to announce the release of Writing Prompts: A Collection of Short Stories Inspired by Imagination, a collaborative effort by various JCP authors.
Writing Prompts: A Collection of Short Stories Inspired by Imagination is the result of friendly competition among Jan-Carol Publishing authors. Each flash fiction, or in some cases non-fiction, entry was selected after a brief contest in which authors answered a prompt.
In this book, readers can familiarize themselves with flash fiction in sensational new ways. Each JCP author carries with them accolades of their own, and punctuates the book with stories that intrigue and excite. Discover what happens to a small town when snow melts for the first time in fifty years, what a holiday like Thanksgiving might look like on another planet, and the thrilling events that take one reporter from covering the news to becoming news himself. These flash fiction stories, albeit short by definition, are sure to make an imprint in your mind and leave you begging for more from these talented authors.
