"Phoenix 5/7 is where story meets sound," says Marquis. "The music follows wherever the story leads. I'm not interested in forcing every experience into the same sound simply so it fits neatly into a category."

Phoenix 5/7 officially entered the streaming landscape on September 8, 2026, with the simultaneous release of "I Become" and "They Saw Ashes." "Welcome In" arrives October 1 as a standalone single. Its invitation, "You Belong Here," extends the heart of Phoenix 5/7: a place for honest expression, vulnerability and the freedom to arrive as you are.

With "Franchise Player," Phoenix 5/7 turns once again—this time toward confidence, presence and self-possession—further demonstrating that listeners should not expect one predictable sonic identity from release to release.
