DALY CITY, Calif. - s4story -- A Bay Area student has launched the Compass Family, a suite of three free mobile and web applications designed to give every student access to the college planning resources typically reserved for families who can afford private counselors.
The three apps — CollegeCompass, ScholarsCompass, and HomeworkHelper — are now live on Google Play and accessible on any device via web browser, completely free with no account or login required.
CollegeCompass (http://college.compassowl.com) provides personalized college matches based on a student's GPA, test scores, state, and financial profile. It uses real government data to calculate net cost estimates — what a student will actually pay after financial aid — helping families make informed decisions without the guesswork.
