Jamal's sister-in-law—Sheikh Riad's wife—saved the lives of both Sheikh Riad and Jamal in North Africa and then saved Sheikh Riad's life again in New York—risking her very own life. The author has been part of the Khashoggi family for more than 30 years—she felt it was time the world knows the true story.
