Boost Board Gives Daily Visibility to Fundraising Campaigns Stuck at Zero

Boost Board hand-reviews and rotates a spotlighted campaign each day, aiming to fix a problem every crowdfunding platform shares: good campaigns that nobody outside the organizer's own circle ever sees. First goal? Move out of the $0 Tier.

BERKELEY, Calif. - s4story -- BERKELEY, Calif. — Boost Board, a free tool built and run by several volunteers, gives daily visibility to fundraising campaigns that haven't received their first donation — including the site's own fundraiser, which is itself currently sitting at zero.

Boost Board reviews every submission and automatically rotates a featured campaign daily. Campaigns must have no or low donations to qualify. The board works like a manual signal boost: putting an overlooked fundraiser in front of people outside the organizer's immediate network, the same way a share would, just made systematic instead of random.

"We are our own beta testers," said Jianda Monique, co-founder of Boost Board. "We have volunteers who need help finding work and paying for living expenses, and our own campaign is currently at zero dollars."

Boost Board has launched its own GoFundMe campaign to cover the actual cost of keeping the project running — hosting, a small volunteer stipend, and development work. None of those funds go toward the campaigns featured on the board itself, which visitors are encouraged to support first.
