NEW YORK - s4story -- "New York moves fast," said Ryan McBurney, announcing the Breathwork Certification in NYC, New York for October 15 to 17, 2027. "This weekend is a chance to slow down, breathe, and learn how to help other people do the same in one of the busiest cities in the world."

It is the last of Liquid Breathwork's three East Coast trainings next year, after Atlanta in March and Washington, D.C. in May.

Tuition starts at $1,997 for the first five seats and is $2,497 for the rest. Secure a seat with a $250 deposit, with payment plans available. Your deposit transfers to another training date. Refunds are handled case by case.

Nobody needs a car. All three airports connect to a train. LIRR, Metro-North, NJ Transit and PATH run in from the suburbs, and Beacon is a little over an hour to Grand Central on the Hudson Line. Locals can sleep at home and ride in each morning.

McBurney and co-founder Shelby Von Oepen teach together from the Liquid Breathwork training manual, and most of the time goes to practice on real people, with feedback. Sessions are surrender-based and trauma-informed, starting from the sigh of relief. That means screening and safety before anyone lies down, how to pace a room, and how to stay with someone through a big release without pushing it.

Registered Yoga Teachers can log the training toward Yoga Alliance continuing education hours through the Subject Matter Expert pathway.

Each day runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with snacks, and 20 is the cap. The venue is not signed yet.
