Brian Cassell joins Stevens Construction as chief financial officer

FORT MYERS, Fla. - s4story -- Stevens Construction, Inc. has named Brian Cassell as chief financial officer (CFO), announced Mark Stevens, president.
As CFO, Cassell is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the company's financial functions, including accounting, finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, tax strategy, compliance, internal controls and risk management.
In addition, Cassell provides executive oversight of Stevens Construction's information technology functions, ensuring financial strategy, operational infrastructure, technology initiatives and workforce planning remain aligned with the company's business objectives.
"As we move into this next phase of growth, we're excited to have Brian join our team," said Stevens. "His depth of financial and operational experience will be a tremendous asset as Stevens Construction continues to grow. Cassell brings three decades of experience leading finance, operations and strategic growth for global and regional manufacturing, construction and technology firms. Cassell has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving profitability, strengthening financial reporting and building high-performing teams. His expertise in capital management, governance, operational excellence and strategic planning will help support Stevens Construction's continued growth.
Cassell earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business and a bachelor's degree in accounting and business management from Asbury University. He also completed executive education in negotiation strategies and influence skills at the University of Michigan and holds a Six Sigma green belt certification. For the last three years, he has served on the board of directors for the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida.
