CarThrive Expands Model Research Library With Five New Comparisons and Rankings

S For Story/10706658
Head to head matchups cover the RAV4 and CR-V, Silverado, F-150 and Ram 1500, and Wrangler and Bronco, plus ranked lists of the best compact SUVs and full size trucks of 2026

BOSTON - s4story -- CarThrive, an independent car shopping research site for New England, today published five new model comparisons and rankings, expanding a research library that pairs verified vehicle specifications with something most comparison sites leave out: what the dealerships selling each model charge in fees, and whether that fee is already inside the advertised price.

The new publications:

2026 Toyota RAV4 vs 2026 Honda CR-V. Toyota has dropped the gas only RAV4 entirely; the hybrid AWD starts at $34,750, returns 42 mpg, and tows 3,500 lb, while the CR-V counters with more rear legroom and cargo space.
2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 vs 2026 Ford F-150 vs 2026 Ram 1500. The three best selling trucks in America, ranked by the numbers: the F-150 tows up to 13,500 lb, the Silverado 13,300 lb with its diesel, and the Ram 11,610 lb.

2026 Jeep Wrangler vs 2026 Ford Bronco. The Wrangler starts thousands less, from $38,030, but its 4xe plug in hybrid has been discontinued for 2026, changing the math for off road buyers.
Best Compact SUVs of 2026, Ranked. All nine mainstream entries ranked on powertrain, fuel economy, cargo, towing, and price, from the RAV4 at number one to the Mazda CX-5.
Best Full Size Trucks of 2026, Ranked. Seven trucks ranked, with the F-150 first and the Silverado EV and Cybertruck graded on the same criteria as the gas trucks.
Every comparison is built from manufacturer specifications and pricing, cross checked before publication. And every one ends where a purchase actually happens: a where to buy section listing New England dealerships for that model with their CarThrive fee transparency grades, so readers can see a store's doc fee and whether it sits inside the advertised price before they call.

"A comparison that stops at horsepower and cargo space stops halfway," said Sean Western, publisher of CarThrive. "Two identical trucks at two different stores can be hundreds of dollars apart once fees land, and the advertised price rarely tells you which store that is. We put the vehicle numbers and the dealer numbers in the same article because that is the decision a buyer is actually making."
