The awards are based on performance reported to HRSA through the Uniform Data System (UDS), the federal reporting program used to measure the quality, effectiveness, and impact of health centers nationwide.

The Advancing HIT for Quality badge recognizes health centers that use health information technology to support quality improvement efforts, improve care coordination, and enhance patient outcomes. The Silver Health Center Quality Leader designation recognizes health centers that rank among the top-performing health centers nationwide for clinical quality measures.
