Chinese Association of Greater Kalamazoo to Celebrate the 2025 Year of the Snake in Grand Style

Kalamazoo, MI – The Chinese American Association of Greater Kalamazoo (CAGK) is thrilled to announce the 2025 Kalamazoo Chinese New Year Gala, a dazzling celebration of culture, tradition, and community. This highly anticipated event, now in its 45th year, will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the iconic Chenery Auditorium, starting at 6:00 PM.
Prepare to be mesmerized as the Year of the Snake comes alive through breathtaking performances! This year's theme celebrates the transformative energy of the snake—a symbol of renewal, creativity, and growth.
The Gala promises a vibrant lineup of cultural showcases, including the thrilling Dragon and Lion Dances, the awe-inspiring Traditional Chinese Yo-Yo, and a variety of music and dance performances featuring over 50 talented artists from across West Michigan.
Yongjun Li, the current President of CAGK, expressed his excitement, stating:
"I'm really excited and anticipate a large turnout this year, including some exciting VIPs. Kalamazoo is a diverse area, and we are proud to be showcasing our culture to the rest of the community during this special time."
