"Choose Yourself: The James Altucher Story," Premiered At Select Studio Movie Grill Locations Throughout The US
WINTER PARK, Fla. - s4story -- DNA Films, released the new documentary, directed by Emmy® award winning director, Nick Nanton, about the life of well-known hedge-fund manager, author, podcaster and entrepreneur, James Altucher at select Studio Movie Grill locations throughout the United States. In its opening weekend, July 10-12th, 2020, "Choose Yourself" was the #18 film in the country.
After James Altucher lost millions of dollars—for the second time, he acknowledged that he needed to make a change. James realized when life was going well for him his 'four bodies'—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual— were all working for him. So, he started bettering himself in those areas and made the decision to choose himself in every aspect of his life. "Choose Yourself" tells his story of failure, triumph, and the power of personal growth and perseverance.

DNA films was thrilled to be able to partner with Studio Movie Grill theaters nationwide to get this story into the hands of viewers during a time when many people are looking for "what's next" in their lives.
"At Studio Movie Grill we believe storytelling is the most human of art forms and in these trying times we are committed to the power of stories," said Tearlach Hutcheson, Vice President of Film. "We were pleased to partner with DNA on the release of 'Choose Yourself' by providing a platform for audiences to have access to great storytellers. The great audience turnout for the film reflected the importance of this film and the work of DNA Films."
As reflected by Hutcheson's words, "Choose Yourself" surpassed expectations for audience attendance.
"While the Studio Movie Grill chain isn't currently reporting their sales to be considered in Box Office rankings, due to services like Box Office Mojo, an IMDb company that systematically tracks box office revenue, we know that 'Choose Yourself' ranked 18th in the nation," reported the film's Director, Nick Nanton. "During this challenging time for many, we are excited to get the 'Choose Yourself' philosophy into the hands of people who may be searching for what's next in their lives. This is also a great indication of the appetite consumers have for this type of content. We are excited to get it to even more viewers, as the series launches next month on Amazon Prime."
