Iva Ballou is empowering parents and youth with her newly released e-book, "Bully Who? A How-To Guide to Recognize Who's Bullying You And Who Are You Bullying."
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - s4story -- Today, cleft confidence Coach, bullying expert and founder of RealSophisticatedJoy, Iva Ballou, released an e-book, "Bully Who? A How-To Guide to Recognize Who's Bullying You And Who Are You Bullying," to empower parents and youth with a resource to combat bullying.
Among high school students, 15.5% are cyberbullied and 20.2% are bullied on school property (per CDC). Experts say the amount of cyberbullying has nearly doubled with many children using computers at home (per KII-TV). "Bully Who?" explores ways to recognize bullying behavior, the types of bullying, prevention methods and much more.
"Having been on both sides of bullying, I wanted to know more about what is and isn't considered bullying. The more I talked to other people, the more I realized certain behaviors in all of the people, myself included," said Ballou when asked why she created the e-book. "I wasn't aware of how some of our everyday actions are forms of bullying or how most of us are victims of bullying and don't know it. This book sheds light on that."

More than 10 parents preordered the e-book before its official release. One of the readers, Tiese Williams described it as an "Excellent read —the author was brutally forthcoming in her personal journey as both the victim and villain of bullying," she said. "This relatable piece takes you on a journey of self-reflection on how your actions might have impacted others. It's clear that the author's goal was to challenge the reader to be considerate of others and she provided useful tips to do so. A reader would certainly be empowered to be more kind and considerate."
