S For Story/10703282
After four memorable years in Austin, beloved mobile ice cream business returns to San Diego and begins accepting event reservations for December 2026
SAN DIEGO - s4story -- After four wonderful years serving families, schools, businesses, and communities throughout Austin, Texas, Danny's Ice Cream Truck is excited to announce its return to San Diego County, with event reservations now being accepted for dates beginning December 2026.
"We've really missed the ocean air and San Diego's beautiful, pleasant weather," said Danny, owner of Danny's Ice Cream Truck. "Austin has been an incredible chapter for us, and we are so grateful for the four years we've spent there. But there's something special about coming home, and we're excited to bring the ice cream truck back to San Diego."
A Fond Farewell to Austin
The decision to leave Austin comes with plenty of emotion.
During four years in Central Texas, Danny's Ice Cream Truck became part of countless birthday parties, school fundraisers, corporate events, neighborhood celebrations, and community gatherings.
"We're going to miss so much about Austin," Danny said. "We'll miss the beautiful oak trees, the bluebonnets in the spring, and especially the amazing customers who supported us over the last four years. They welcomed us into their neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and celebrations, and we'll always be grateful for that."

"Austin gave us four amazing years that we'll never forget. We're incredibly thankful for everyone who supported Danny's Ice Cream Truck and made us feel at home."

- Family and private events
Danny's Ice Cream Truck is also continuing its commitment to making events easy and fun for hosts, while providing friendly Red Bow Tie Service and a variety of popular frozen treats.
School Fundraising Returns to San Diego
School communities will also be able to take advantage of Danny's Ice Cream Truck fundraising events, giving schools and PTAs an enjoyable way to raise money while bringing an ice cream experience directly to campus.
"We love school events because it's about more than just ice cream," Danny said. "It's watching the kids get excited, seeing them share treats with their friends, and knowing that the event is also helping their school."
