LAS VEGAS - s4story -- Following the success of its inaugural fundraiser benefiting Spectrum on Ice, Delirious Comedy Club, inside Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino, proudly presents the 2nd Annual Delirious Hockey Club Charity Skate on Friday, August 21, at 10:15 a.m. at the Las Vegas Ice Center.

This year's beneficiary is Sin City FD Sports, a Las Vegas firefighter 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes mental wellness, physical fitness, teamwork, and camaraderie among firefighters from Clark County, Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City Fire Departments.

The Delirious Hockey Club was co-founded by comedian and Delirious Comedy Club owner Don Barnhart and local real estate investor Sean McCrossan, whose friendship began through local pickup hockey. "Our first fundraiser showed how much good can happen when people come together around something they love," said Barnhart.

McCrossan added, "Our hockey family has always been about friendships, community, and giving back. Bringing together players, firefighters, local businesses, and families for a great cause is what this event is all about."

Supporting those who serve has long been part of Barnhart's career. Since 1992, he has entertained U.S. military personnel worldwide through the USO, Armed Forces Entertainment, and his internationally recognized Battle Comics program. That commitment now extends to supporting Southern Nevada's first responders.

The morning features a draft-style hockey game with three lines per team, four goalies, and a championship trophy. Following the game, everyone is invited to Brooksy's Bar & Grill at 12:00 noon for lunch, a charity raffle, and a community celebration.  One hundred percent of the $30 skate registration fee will be donated directly to Sin City FD Sports, along with all raffle proceeds and a percentage of lunch sales. Community members who don't skate are encouraged to attend the lunch and raffle to support the fundraiser.

Organizers are also seeking raffle prize donations, including show tickets, hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, sporting event tickets, golf outings, spa packages, memorabilia, travel experiences, merchandise, and other unique items.
