Newark, NJ – Six talented, intriguing and inspiring female authors are coming to the Newark Public Library on April 18, 2026 for Delta Authors on Tour.
This free, public event is part of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated's National Arts and Letters Commission's effort to promote literacy and entrepreneurship across the country. The North Jersey Alumnae Chapter is proud to serve as the host chapter for the Eastern Region for this educational, entertaining and enlightening event. Delta Authors on Tour features writers from across the country. The authors will present books from all ranges and categories, including children's books, self-improvement, fiction and non- fiction selections.
The event will be held at the Newark Public Library, located at 5 Washington Street, Newark, NJ, 07102 on April 18, 2026 from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
During the half-day event, guests will be able to speak directly with authors, purchase books and participate in book signings. An Authors Panel session will be held in the afternoon, including three-time NAACP Image Award Nominee and Essence bestselling author Victoria Christopher Murray.
