BROOKLYN, N.Y. - s4story -- Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) presents "Homesick for a Land that Never Existed," the next installment in their serialized play "A Brooklyn Arcanum" at Brooklyn's Industry City. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto, the performance includes three original short plays based on The Tower, The Emperor, and The Moon cards of the Major Arcana.
The show starts at 8pm on Thursday, September 28th at the Tom Kane Theatre in Brooklyn's Industry City at 51 35th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232. First floor of Building 5, next to St. Mark's Comics.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the box office or online.
No one will be turned away who is unable to pay. "A Brooklyn Arcanum" is presented by BrooklynONE Productions (bkONE).
In "The Tower or Hiraeth," a teenager meets the Green Man in a Welsh pub to seek advice on growing up in a town without a future.
In "The Emperor or A Refutation of All Heresies," a disgraced Pope and his most fervent enemy are exiled to an island to die together.

In "The Moon or You Never Forget Your First Night," a piano player recounts the story of when he first fell in love with the night sky.
Anthony Marino, co-founder of bkONE says that Gracia and D3C "align almost completely with what our late [bkONE] Co-Founder Tom Kane always wished: that good works and good theatre ultimately build a strong artistic community."
The September 28 performances continue D3C's unique serialized play format, which allows the audience to see the plays individually but also rewards repeat theater goers with interconnected characters and themes.
"I'm so stoked about our season, and to continue our serialized format," LoPorto says, "creating an overarching narrative while still offering short plays that stand on their own."
Online tickets can be found here: https://www.bkone.org/tix
Homesick for a Land that Never Existed features: Gary Chung, Nicole Ashley Franz, John Harlacher, Daniel Jameson, Emily Missud, and Gil Ron.
