Studio Operations and Production Executive Brings More than 30 Years of Experience to Echelon Studios Management, Which Will Initially Manage Three Purpose-Built Major Studio Campuses in Hollywood and New York
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - s4story -- Echelon Studios Management ("ESM") today announced that Jamie Crosbie has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Head of Studio Operations. Mr. Crosbie will be responsible for overseeing studio operations, client and production services, and facilities. The studio services company, headquartered in Hollywood with a bi-coastal presence, will manage three purpose-built studio campuses - one in Hollywood (Echelon Studios Hollywood) and two in New York (Echelon Studios Bushwick and Echelon Studios Red Hook).
Mr. Crosbie joins ESM after nearly a decade at NBCUniversal where he oversaw soundstage and backlot operations alongside a full suite of production services, including lighting, grip, rigging, transportation, and the art department. He also played a central role in expanding Universal Production Services across Albuquerque, Atlanta, Chicago, London and New York, and was instrumental in the stand-up of two landmark facilities: Sky Studios Elstree in London and Assembly Studios in Atlanta.

Prior to NBCUniversal, Mr. Crosbie served in business development leadership roles at Cinelease and Mole-Richardson and earlier spent a decade at Paramount Pictures in New York in key operational roles supporting studio and location-based productions. Mr. Crosbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography and Film Production from The Ohio State University.

Set to open in January 2027, Echelon Studios Hollywood is a purpose-built urban studio campus which will feature four 18,000-square-foot soundstages, a 14,000-square-foot flex stage, 150,000 square feet of production support/office mill and basecamp space, and 350,000 square feet of bungalows and workspace. Amenities include outdoor decks, patios, and other exterior common areas will serve to maximize area and create valuable filming and event space.

In New York, two large-scale film and production campuses, Echelon Studios Bushwick and Echelon Studios Red Hook, are under construction and are set to open in the summer of 2027. The two projects will collectively offer 10 new soundstages across 600,000 square feet. The two studios will feature state-of-the-art industry specifications including column-free soundstages with clear-to-grid ceiling heights of 40 feet, ~450 below-grade parking spaces, high production support-to-stage space ratios, and future-proof acoustical, electrical, HVAC, and floor loading capacity in its stages.
