EDCAPIT Founder Oleh Podobied and Jenny Li Discuss the Future of EdTech in Silicon Valley
S For Story/10701416
Silicon Valley conversation explores how AI, venture capital and startups could reshape education, skills development and future careers.
PALO ALTO, Calif. - s4story -- EDCAPIT Founder and CEO Oleh Podobied and GES Ventures Founder and CEO Jenny Li have released a Silicon Valley interview examining how artificial intelligence, venture capital and entrepreneurship could reshape the future of education.
The conversation brings together perspectives from education, technology and investment. Podobied is Founder and CEO of EDCAPIT, a U.S.-based global EdTech company, and President of ITCAPITAL Ventures. Li is Founder and CEO of GES Ventures and President of GES International Education Group.
The interview examines a growing challenge for education: how should learning evolve when artificial intelligence, employer expectations and professional skills are changing faster than traditional education systems?
Topics include financing EdTech companies, Silicon Valley's role in education innovation, government support for emerging technologies, differences between the U.S. and Chinese education markets, and the potential impact of AI on learning over the next five to ten years.

The discussion also reflects the broader direction of EDCAPIT. The company is developing a global learning ecosystem intended to create a stronger connection between education, professional skills, career development and employer needs.
"Education should not exist separately from changes taking place in technology and the labor market," said Oleh Podobied. "The next generation of education needs to connect what people learn with the skills they develop and the opportunities available to them afterward."
EDCAPIT currently brings together approximately 110 instructors and more than 110 courses. About 95% of its instructors are Ukrainian, while more than 60% of courses are offered in Ukrainian, helping educators reach learners internationally through a U.S.-based platform.
Podobied is a Ukrainian entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley whose work spans education technology, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and venture capital. Through EDCAPIT and ITCAPITAL Ventures, his current focus includes EdTech, workforce transformation and emerging technologies.

Li brings an international perspective shaped by more than a decade of work across education, AI, robotics, entrepreneurship and global innovation.
A broader theme of the interview is that education's next transformation is unlikely to be driven by one group alone. Governments, universities, educators, employers, investors and technology companies all have a role as AI changes learning and work.
The full Jenny Li and Oleh Podobied interview, including the video and extended discussion, is available on the official EDCAPIT website:
