EFA to Exhibit at AWP Conference and Bookfair in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - s4story -- The Editorial Freelancers Association will be exhibiting at the AWP Conference and Bookfair, February 7 – 10, in Kansas City, Missouri. The event, hosted by the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, will be held at the Kansas City Convention Center. EFA professionals provide a variety of services to authors, including developmental editing and copy editing, proofreading, book design and typesetting, and indexing. They also offer assistance with author platform-building and creating promotions and marketing materials.
"AWP is such a wonderful opportunity to connect with everyone," says Kristen Tate, EFA Events chairperson. "We see authors at all stages of their careers, academics, and others in the publishing community. We're always to glad to participate in this event."

The first AWP conference, held in 1973 at the Library of Congress, featured six events and 16 presenters. AWP has grown to be the largest literary conference in North America, drawing thousands of writers, editors, and publishers, and featuring hundreds of events. The concurrent Bookfair will feature hundreds of exhibitors, including presses, journals, and literary organizations.
Founded in 1970, the EFA is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators and others who work in publishing, communications and related fields.
