S For Story/10271567
NEW YORK - Oct. 3, 2016 - s4story -- For the third year in a row, the Editorial Freelancers Association will be exhibiting at the annual conference of the American Medical Writers Association. The Medical Writing & Communication Conference will be held Oct. 5–8 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.
"Our members include many medical writers, editors and other professionals with ties to the healthcare community," says Lindsey Alexander, the EFA's Events Subcommittee chairperson. "With its presentations, workshops and networking opportunities for medical writers and editors as well as other editorial professionals, AMWA's conference is the premier event for people working in this field and looking to develop their skill set," says Alexander.
"As a member of both AMWA and the EFA, I know that the AMWA conference is an excellent place to expand project opportunities for EFA members," says Katharine O'Moore-Klopf, consulting medical editor. "Many EFA members also belong to AMWA and are skilled professionals able to help clients with medical editing, writing, project management, proofreading and editing for non-native English speakers. Our members work in every type of medical communication, including journals, textbooks, continuing medical education, patient education and advertising," she notes.
