Florida Trend names Dr. Arie Dosoretz to 'Florida 500' list

FORT MYERS, Fla. - s4story -- Dr. Arie Dosoretz, a radiation oncologist and managing partner of Southwest Florida Proton, Advocate Radiation Oncology and Precision Healthcare Specialists, has been selected by Florida Trend magazine as a Florida 500 (https://floridatrend500.com/health-life-science...) honoree for 2025.

The Florida 500 program identifies and showcases 500 influential Florida business leaders across all industries. Dosoretz is among 32 individuals recognized in the Health and Life Sciences category.

A Fort Myers native, Dosoretz is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in neurobiology, a Master of Business Administration degree at the Wharton School of Business and a Doctor of Medicine degree at the Perelman School of Medicine. He then completed a residency at Yale University's New Haven Hospital, Department of Therapeutic Radiology, before returning to Southwest Florida to practice as a physician and work in health care management.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dosoretz founded Advocate Radiation Oncology in 2019 and oversees a practice that has grown to 15 locations across Southwest Florida and Southeast Florida. Dosoretz also founded Southwest Florida Proton, the first center on Florida's west coast to offer proton therapy to cancer patients, through partnerships with Advocate Radiation Oncology and Lee Health. He is also a co-founder and the managing partner of Precision Healthcare Specialists, a leading multispecialty group on the west coast of Florida.

Dosoretz is board certified in radiation oncology through the American Board of Radiology and is a member of both the American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. In addition to being recognized as a 2025 Florida 500 honoree, Dosoretz's list of accolades includes the Lee Health Foundation's Phoenix Award as a Cancer Care Hero (2024), the Lee County Medical Society's Scientific Achievement Award (2023) and Business Observer's 40 Under 40 Award (2020). Advocate Radiation Oncology also has been honored by Gulfshore Business, the Lee County Medical Society and United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades.
