Free serial novel masquerades as humorous local newspaper to bring weekly stories to subscribers

Readers around the world can enjoy the amusing tales in The End Times, which purports to report on the goings-on in End, a town in England, where events often mirror global current affairs
WESTMINSTER, U.K. - s4story -- In one sense The End Times is the local newspaper for End, a thriving town in England. But it is so much more than that, and the editorial team welcomes subscribers from around the world to experience life in their wonderful town, where life so often imitates the great events that are going on in the world.
'The End Times is a fictional newspaper in which we can analyse what is going on in the world today,' explained editor Ed Humble. 'We include fiction and humour, but it is also a platform to examine and explore world events from climate change and presidential pronouncements to sport and the culture wars.'
'Publishing serially means that we can react to current events and incorporate recent news in our stories. Novels were originally published in this serial format, most famously The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens, so we are continuing a tradition with great pedigree. Readers can enjoy an on-going tale that pops into their inbox every week.'

End is an old English town near the sea, but it suffers from a corrupted political system, a sports team that always lets it down and particular vicious seagulls who swoop down and steal food from innocent tourists.
Join the readers who enjoy keeping up to date with the goings-on in End. Just sign up for a free subscription to The End Times and get the latest issue in your inbox every Friday.
And do please visit End in real life if you can. We have the world's largest museum devoted to both Jane Austen and Red Rum (open on Thursdays), an original Victorian helter-skelter (currently closed) and a plaque that commemorates the invention of beer here in 313AD.
