PORTLAND, Ore. - s4story -- The Imperfecta Gallery is excited to present Frol.ic.some. On view May 7-30 2026, this invitational group show includes new works by artists from Argentina, Canada, Latvia, Peru, UK, Ukraine, and the USA.
frol·ic·Some focus is on all things lively and playful – imagine Hieronymus Bosch eating pastel bomboms with Marc Chagall on a sunny spring day, surrounded by daffodils while Louis Armstrong sings What A Wonderful World. Or perhaps Mark Ryden playing hopscotch with Keith Haring in Olafur Eliasson's Rainbow panorama, while Takashi Murakami hums Pharrel William's Happy.
Invited artists include: Alice Langlois, Alex Kuno, Andrea Hooge, Aunia Kahn, Cristina Stucchi, Chris Wood, Dianne Hoffman, Jacqueline Myers-Cho, Jeannie Pappas, Justine Smith, Karen Margolis, Kim Tepe, Ksenia Shinkovskaya, Laura Colors, Lola Lebowski, Maxfield Strauss, Olga Vyshnyvetska, Paola Zakimi, Sara Swink, and Stephanie Brockway.
