ROME, Ga. - s4story -- TMP Books is pleased to announce the release of Pickle in My Pocket, written by Georgia residents Timothy C. Ruckman and his wife Tracy Ruckman. This humorous story features Poppa Tim as the narrator of his childhood, with a life lesson about patience.

Mr. Ruckman was born and raised in Selma, Alabama. His childhood days were filled with fun and mischief, usually with the help of his siblings and cousins. He retired from the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in 2009 and has spent his retirement in north Georgia. He was born with a learning disability that causes him to process information out of order, but he never let the disability stop him from learning. He learned to read at age 22 and had a story about his mother published in a 2012 anthology.
