TAMPA, Fla. - s4story -- Heart of Adoptions Alliance, Inc. is proud to announce a special, free impact screening of "Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot" on Thursday, November 13, 2025. The event aims to raise critical awareness about the need for foster and adoptive families for children in foster care and inspire community action to support vulnerable children in the Tampa Bay area.
The powerful true story, "Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot," chronicles 22 families from a small East Texas church who collectively adopted 77 of the most vulnerable children in their community. It stands as a remarkable testament to the profound impact of ordinary individuals embracing extraordinary love.
"Every child deserves a loving and stable home, and the 'Sound of Hope' beautifully illustrates the transformative power of community," said Dr. Brigette Schupay, Executive Director of Heart of Adoptions Alliance, Inc. "With over 400 children in the Tampa Bay area currently awaiting their forever families, this screening is more than just a film; it's a call to action. We believe that together, we can be a part of the solution, creating pathways to permanency for these deserving children."
