GREENVILLE, S.C. - s4story -- In celebration of the second anniversary of the release of "Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman's Journey on the Matter of Race," poet, Melissa Whiteford St. Clair announces the rebranded cover debuting for Harriet Tubman Day – March 10, 2023. Rebranding in honor of Harriet Tubman Day reflects the author's homage to Harriet Tubman's heroic flight to freedom and selfless dedication to helping others.
Born into slavery, Harriet Tubman departed this life on March 10, 1913, in Auburn, New York thus March 10th is recognized as Harriet Tubman Day.
"Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman's Journey on the Matter of Race" will bring readers into the heart of the author's expedition into the study of racism and social justice electrified by Harriet Tubman's heroic flight to freedom. Below is an introductory poem.

The rebranding of "Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman's Journey on the Matter of Race" coincides with the release of Whiteford St. Clair's second book of poetry, "Heart Work A Heart-Centered Collection of Poems" published this past Valentine's Day, Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
A portion of the proceeds from each book will be donated to The Harriet Tubman Monument until monies are raised for installation next to the historic Tabernacle Baptist Church, Craven Street, Beaufort, SC.
