NEW YORK - s4story -- What does a young man from Earth learn in 34 years living on another planet? And what has happened on Earth in the time that he was gone?

In "Homo Cosmicus: A Science Fiction Novel," Brazilian student Paulo Roberto is abducted in 1989 by aliens from a highly developed civilization across the universe. Paulo discovers that star Cygni 61, which they call Omeron, is a very strange world in every respect.

Omeroneans use telepathy to communicate instead of speech and have forgotten the use of money. These nondescript supermen, almost imperishable and ethereal, live long lives and soar through the air like biblical angels.

About the Author: Todor Bombov is a senior customs officer with 27 years of service in Varna, Bulgaria. He wrote the first variation of this book in 1990 to take part in an international CNN contest. "I found that a society without money and without states is completely possible, a society without crimes, murders, frauds, and evils." This is the author's third book.
