HOUSTON - s4story -- Houston trailblazer, Jade Simmons, hosts the city's inaugural Restoration Rally, a faith-based gathering of like-minded Americans who still believe in the possibility of becoming One Nation, Under God, and Indivisible. This historic experience will take place on Friday, February 28th at, Inspire Church, 11727 East Sam Houston Parkway North at 7 p.m.

Restoration Rallies are where political party affiliations are left at home and, people agree to step across the aisle to give glory to God for the work of restoration that has already begun. What better atmosphere than this to renew minds and hearts, and to turn away from animosity and civility in order to turn towards a greater purpose!

Jade first made waves as an out-of the box concert pianist, trained by West Ashley piano teachers Kay Whitehead and Mimi Nussbaum before going on to get her bachelor's and master's degrees in piano performance from Northwestern and Rice universities respectively. Her musical prowess spans Rachmaninoff to Rap and has garnered her performances in renowned halls and the nickname of Classical Music's #1 Maverick. While still an undergrad in Illinois, she also served as an advocate for mental health awareness and youth suicide prevention, culminating in testifying before Congress alongside Tipper Gore and author Danielle Steele on behalf of mental health funding. Simmons, also an author and minister, has gone on to write the Amazon bestselling book Audacious Prayers for World Changers.
