While roads will remain open during construction, lane restrictions can be expected. Some night and weekend intersection detours may also occur. The paving is expected to be completed by the end of summer. However, minor impacts may continue for a few weeks as crews finish up work such as raising manholes.
Drivers are advised to plan for delays in work zones and follow posted signage. Caution should also be exercised around construction crews. The city appreciates everyone's patience as they work towards improving roads across Idaho Falls.
