LOS ANGELES - s4story -- LOS ANGELES, CA — The entertainment community gathered during BET Weekend to honor legendary music producer Kannon "Cavie" Cross and acclaimed actor and singer Keith D. Robinson at an exclusive celebration recognizing their contributions to music, film, and culture.

Hosted at beTRUE Studios in Los Angeles, the event also introduced the new creative venue, which operates in partnership with Cavie's entertainment company, Vortex Hollywood. The space is designed for podcasts, content creation, screenings, photography, and private events and is now accepting bookings through Vortex Hollywood.

A Compton native, Cavie has worked with iconic artists including Aaliyah, DMX, Macy Gray, T.I., Goodie Mob, and E-40. Beyond music, he recently helped fulfill a cancer patient's final wish by producing a song and creating lasting memories with the family.

Robinson, known for his roles in Dreamgirls, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Beyond the Gates, was celebrated for his achievements as both an actor and recording artist. Supporting him at the event were fellow Beyond the Gates cast members Brandon Claybon and Timon Kyle Durrett.
