The Giraffe Without Spots follows a young giraffe who feels out of place in a world where everyone else looks the same. "I just love children," Kaelyn shares. "As I worked in childcare, I realized how many stories confuse children and cause them to think poorly about themselves. I felt called by God to provide stories with positive messaging and nuggets of truth to help children grow in healthy directions. This book reflects my own struggles with self-esteem and the lessons God has taught me about embracing who you are." Kaelyn's passion for storytelling began in childhood, when she wrote her first book at age eight, complete with crayon illustrations and moral lessons. Influenced by fairy tales at her grandmother's house and audio dramas like Adventures in Odyssey, Kaelyn has long believed in the power of stories to shape values and inspire children to be the best version of themselves.
