Join us in celebrating the voices and achievements of women all over the world
NEW YORK - s4story -- New York, NY – The International Women's Writing Guild (IWWG) is excited to announce the launch of its Write Forward Anthology, a compelling collection that amplifies the voices of women from across the United States and around the world. With funding from The de Groot Foundation, this anthology celebrates the strength and resilience of women and features a diverse array of stories, poems, essays, and reflections, unified by themes that echo the goals of Beijing +30 and the CSW69 (Commission on the Status of Women). These themes—empowerment, gender equality, leadership, global solidarity, and social justice—are at the heart of both the anthology and the international conversations taking place at the UN.
To celebrate the release of the Write Forward Anthology, IWWG will host a hybrid reading event in May 2025 in New York City. This event will bring together writers and community leaders for an evening of readings and reflection. "We are thrilled to showcase the voices of women from all corners of the globe who have contributed to this anthology. Each piece is a testament to the progress women have made and the road ahead," said Michelle Miller, Executive Director of IWWG.
