JASON MADE Opens the "Chapel Notebook" with Three-Song R&B Collection
S For Story/10678147
After his breakout debut, the Alabama-born artist—reveals his soulful roots and genre-defying range with a new three-song release.
FAIRHOPE, Ala. - s4story -- JASON MADE, the pop-soul artist whose powerful story of redemption and unlikely mentorship captured national attention, is opening the next page of his "Chapel Notebook." Today, he announced a three-song R&B collection designed to showcase his artistic depth and soulful versatility.
The "Chapel Notebook" is a remarkable collection of over 40 songs spanning nearly every genre, all penned by MADE during his incarceration at FPC Pensacola. It is not defined by a single sound, but serves as a multi-genre diary of resilience, pain, and hope. His debut single, "Makings of a Man," was the first page from this book, and its release—famously championed by his prison-chapel friend, Todd Chrisley—provided the public's first glimpse into this powerful body of work. But that was just the beginning. This new R&B set proves the catalog's profound depth and musical sophistication.

This new collection begins on November 21 with "Saltwater Pool." This minimalist Alt-R&B ballad is an emotionally triumphant track built around a stunning, unforgettable central metaphor: the artist has cried so many tears, they've filled a personal, luxurious saltwater pool.
The song transforms deep personal sorrow into an enviable oasis, asserting that the very pain once meant to break the artist has been purified, refined, and used to construct a self-made paradise. Blending atmospheric R&B production with profound lyrical depth, "Saltwater Pool" is an anthem for anyone who has successfully converted hardship into genuine, unassailable triumph, claiming ultimate self-possession with the line: "All those tears that I cried too, made a paradise."
The release continues on November 28 with "I Want You." The track is a sensual, atmospheric groove that demonstrates MADE's technical prowess as a vocalist. He fluidly adapts his delivery, showcasing a dynamic range and precise control that serves the song's mature, confident atmosphere. His sharp songwriting is highlighted in the line: "What you have done is no easy feat."

The triptych concludes on December 5 with "Love On Me," an upbeat, lush, and layered track that explodes with infectious energy and a plea for connection, captured in the candid admission: "Sometimes we come on a little strong."
"The 'Chapel Notebook' is my journey, and that journey wasn't just one sound," says MADE. "I grew up on church music, and that's the foundation for my love of soul and R&B. But that book is my entire story, in all its genres. From my first song 'My Alabama' to this, I'm excited to take people on this ride. They may be surprised to find out what comes next." -JASON MADE
