MARLTON, N.J. - s4story -- Jeanine Miles, MS, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor, from Marlton NJ, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Ms. Miles has 25 years of administrative and management experience in the mental health field and is currently a premier provider for multiple surgeons in South Jersey where she works closely with pre and post-surgical bariatric patients. Her dedication and genuine empathy for the patients she serves is a result of overcoming her own personal struggle with obesity.

She received her graduate psychology/counseling training and education at the University of Delaware and Western CT State University. In addition to her Master's Degree she has earned a Weight Management Certification from American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA).

Because of Ms. Miles professional training, clinical acumen and personal experiences, she was awarded a fellowship scholarship by AABC. This post-graduate training in bariatric science has equipped her with specialized competencies that will further the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care and treatment of those suffering from obesity and related disorders.
