Jo Hoeflich's "Larix the Larch Tree" is a Heartwarming Tale of the Beauty of being Different
S For Story/10399426
"Larix the Larch Tree," a story of science, spirit, and surprises by Jo Hoeflich, will be released December 6.
s4story -- Illustrated by Stephanie Campbell, the story follows Larix the Larch Tree, who arrives during a beauty contest between the trees in a forest. Conifers offer the beauty of permanence; Deciduous offer the beauty of change. Through the dances of the seasons Larix discovers and explores how the beauty of each is built upon and enhanced by the beauty of the other.
Through "Larix the Larch Tree," Hoeflich introduces a story about the beauty of permanence and change that will touch the hearts of parents and children alike. With poetic prose, a moving theme, and vibrant illustrations, "Larix the Larch Tree" is easy enough for children to understand and yet powerful enough to move all ages. By exploring the beauty around us, Hoeflich strives to teach acceptance of the differences and beauty within us all.
