Kimberly Coghlan Appointed Senior Editor at TouchPoint Press
S For Story/10443458
TouchPoint Press, a traditional publisher of digital and print fiction and nonfiction, is excited to announce that Kimberly Coghlan has been promoted to Senior Editor!
TUPELO, Miss. - s4story -- As the Senior Editor, Kimberly will manage junior editors while overseeing the content creation process of titles to be published under TouchPoint Press and its Faith and Romance imprints.
With over ten years' experience in editing, Kimberly Coghlan is a veracious editor who knows how to make every word count. Kimberly has worked as an editor for several publishing companies, and she owns a small writing company in Mississippi.
When asked about Kimberly, Sheri Williams, the Publisher and Owner of TouchPoint Press said, "Kimberly is an editor any publisher or author would be blessed to work with. She has a keen eye for what sells--an uncanny ability to see beyond personal preferences to view the bigger picture. We all have our preferred genres, and it takes a talented editor to see past what he/she likes and focus on what the reader craves and what is selling in today's market. She has a unique way of conveying the importance of making necessary changes to authors while being understanding of her authors' preferences. She embodies a perfect combination of empathy and a no-holds-barred personality. Kimberly rocks both, and TouchPoint is better with her on board!"

Before opening her own company, Kimberly worked in secondary education as an English teacher. She has a BS in English Education and an MA in English. She still teaches writing courses at her local community college. Kimberly lives in Mississippi with her husband Craig, daughter Riley, and two furry children, Rookie (a Miniature Schnauzer) and Rebel (a Boxer).
"I am thrilled to accept a position as Senior Editor with TouchPoint Press. I have made lifelong friendships in my time as an editor, and TouchPoint Press has truly become an extension of my own family. Writers relinquish a portion of their souls when writing a book, and I understand the grave responsibility of editing such a precious collection of words. As a senior editor, I am determined to support writers, and I am honored that authors allow me to be part of the unique, exciting process of publication," stated Kimberly.
