The Lake Norman Philharmonic (LKN PHIL) returns to Charles Mack Citizen Center to celebrate Spring on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. Admission is free to the public.
MOORESVILLE, N.C. - s4story -- The Lake Norman Philharmonic is excited to return to the Charles Mack Citizen Center to celebrate Spring!
The LKN PHIL invites you to a free Spring Concert under the baton of Maestro Eduardo Cedeño, featuring unforgettable music from some of cinema's greatest moments. Experience the drama, romance, and adventure of films like Raging Bull, An American in Paris, The Magnificent Seven, and more—performed live by a full orchestra. We'll once again welcome guest conductors and wonderful soloists, sharing selections we think you'll truly enjoy!
Conductor Eduardo Cedeňo said, "At its heart, the Lake Norman Philharmonic is about community, and this concert is an open invitation to everyone. Our musicians play with so much dedication and joy, and there's nothing we love more than sharing that with the people around us. Come as you are, settle in, and enjoy the music."

The concert will be held in the large banquet hall, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Free parking is available behind the Charles Mack Citizen Center. The building is fully accessible and has elevators, and we're happy to help with special accommodations if needed. Seating is first-come, first-served. If you're coming with a large group or have special accommodation requests, please reach out to us at lknphilharmonic@gmail.com before the concert.

The Lake Norman Philharmonic (LKN PHIL) is a nonprofit community orchestra led by Maestro Eduardo Cedeño and open to all local musicians. Dedicated to outreach and music education, the orchestra partners with area artists, schools, and universities and performs four to six concerts each year. No audition is required. Rehearsals take place on Mondays, 7:00–8:30 p.m., at Langtree Charter Academy Upper School in Mooresville, NC. Website: lknphil.org

Maestro Eduardo Cedeño, a Butler University and internationally trained conductor, brings international experience from the U.S., Europe, and South America. A founding member of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and former Director of the Mérida Symphony Orchestra, he worked directly with José Antonio Abreu and continues to champion music education. Cedeño has collaborated with major ensembles in the Carolinas, Indianapolis, and Venezuela. He is Founder and Principal Conductor of the Lake Norman Philharmonic and currently teaches at Mitchell Community College and Langtree Charter Academy. Website: http://www.eduardocedeno.net/
