LCSW/School Counselor, leverages AI technology to create inclusive children's books
S For Story/10620787
Author and LCSW/School Counselor, Malisa Hepner, brings her passion for delivering students quality social/emotional learning to a more global market by turning her lessons into books.
YUKON, Okla. - s4story -- Today, Author Malisa Hepner announces: The release of her latest children's book, 'The School That Learned To Include!'. In October, Malisa wrote a story for bullying prevention, which was presented as a schoolwide lesson. This inspired the creation of her books.
Self-publishing has become more popular, so it didn't take long for Malisa to find tutorials for the different aspects, such as creating a cover for your book. That first story, 'The School That Cried Bully!', started out as an experiment to see if it was possible, says Malisa. She states, "The purpose of this latest book, 'The School That Learned To Include!', is to ensure that my books are inclusive and to help teach small children about how to include students who require the use of assistive devices and might have different abilities from themselves. I would say, more than that, it reinforces the notion of empathy and allowing yourself to see the world from someone else's perspective.
