Lubri-Loy Sponsors Carson Ware and the No. 47 Chevrolet at Talladega Superspeedway
S For Story/10706200
The St. Louis lubricant company, founded in 1949, returns to racing at Talladega, in the home state of its partner Motion Industries, and plans NASCAR hospitality through the rest of 2026 and into 2027.
ST. LOUIS - s4story -- The Lubri-Loy Company, a maker of premium industrial lubricants and greases blended in the USA since 1949, will sponsor driver Carson Ware and the No. 47 Lubri-Loy Chevrolet for Mike Harmon Racing at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, October 24.
The No. 47 will race in a bold orange and black Lubri-Loy scheme inspired by the brand's classic look. It also carries support from Costa Oil and Schluter Systems. Ware calls the Talladega race the "first of many" with Lubri-Loy.
The race has extra meaning for the company because Alabama is home to Motion Industries, Lubri-Loy's distribution partner. Through Motion, maintenance teams and manufacturers across North America can buy Lubri-Loy greases, oils and food-grade lubricants.

"Lubri-Loy has been part of American racing history before, and bringing the brand back to the track at Talladega, in the home state of our partner Motion Industries, feels exactly right," said Constantine "Costa" Kapothanasis II, owner of The Lubri-Loy Company. "Carson races with the same grit our customers bring to their plants and shops every day. NASCAR hospitality will be a big part of how we thank our customers and distribution partners for the rest of 2026 and all through 2027, and this weekend is just the start."
Lubri-Loy plans to host customers, Motion Industries associates and industry partners at selected NASCAR events for the rest of the 2026 season and through 2027.
